Getting started
To access Kiiper, you can follow these steps:
1. Go to the Kiiper website: https://go.kiiper.app/
2. Enter your Kiiper email address and password.
3. Click on the "Login" button.
4. If you don't have a Kiiper account, you can create one by clicking on the "Try Kiiper for free" button.
Here are some additional tips for accessing Kiiper:
- You can access Kiiper from any device with an internet connection.
- Kiiper is available in english and spanish. You can change the language by clicking on the EN / ES option in the top right corner.

To register a bank account in Kiiper, you can follow these steps:
1. Log in to Kiiper (https://go.kiiper.app/).
2. Go to the Settings page and click on the Bank accounts tab.
3. Click on the "Add account" button.
4. Enter the bank statement information, country, bank name and currency.
5. Click on the "Register account" button.
Once you have registered the bank accounts, you can start importing your bank statements into Kiiper.
If you use Xero or QBO, Kiiper can automatically extract information to register bank accounts, once you activate the integration. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Log in to Kiiper.
2. Go to the Settings page and click on the Integrations tab.
3. Click on the "Select" button next to the option you like to integrate, Xero or QBO.
4. Enter your Xero or QBO credentials.
5. Click on the "Connect" button.
Once you have connected Kiiper to Xero or QBO, bank accounts registered in the accounting software will be shown within the Bank accounts tab.
6. Go to the Settings page and click on the Bank accounts tab.
7. Select each bank account and enter the bank statement information, country, bank name and currency.
8. Click on the "Register account" button.
Once you have registered the bank accounts, you can start importing your bank statements into Kiiper.

To download a searchable bank statement, you can follow these steps:
1. Log in to online banking.
2. Go to the Statements or Downloads page.
3. Select the period of the bank statement that you want to download.
4. Choose any format, such as PDF, Excel, or CSV.
5. Click on the Download button.
Once the bank statement has been downloaded, regardless of the format, Kiiper will convert the data in a way that is compatible with the accounting software you use and select.
Tips for downloading a bank statement to import into Kiiper:
- If you are downloading a PDF bank statement, make sure that it is not password protected.
- If you are downloading an Excel bank statement, make sure that it is saved as an Excel workbook (.xls or .xlsx) instead of an comma separated value (.csv).
- If you are downloading a CSV bank statement, make sure that it is formatted correctly. The first row of the CSV file should contain the column headers, and the remaining rows should contain the transaction data.

4. Select the bank statement that you want to import. This is the bank statement that you previously downloaded from online banking.
5. Verify or Indicate the format in which the data should be downloaded.
6. Click on the "Download" button.
Kiiper will convert the bank statement into a compatible format with the acconting software you use. You can also review and edit the converted file's information as needed.

To import a bank statement into the accounting software, you will need to follow the steps indicated by your software provider. However, here are the general steps to import the bank statement, you converted through Kiiper, into your accounting software:
1. Log in to the accountig software.
2. Go to the banking section.
3. Click on the import a bank statement button.
4. Select the bank statement converted through Kiiper.
5. Review if the accounting software will import the transactions correctly.
6. Click on the import button.
7. Verify that the ending bank balance in the accounting software equals the bank statement.
Once you have imported the bank statement, you will be able to view and reconcile transactions in your accounting software.

To integrate Kiiper and Xero, you can follow these steps:
1. Log in to Kiiper (https://go.kiiper.app/).
2. Go to the Settings page and click on the Integrations tab.
3 Click on the "Connect" button next to the Xero logo.
You will be prompted to log in to your Xero account.
4. Once you have logged in, select the Xero organization that you want to integrate with Kiiper.
5. Click on the "Allow access" button.
Your Kiiper and Xero accounts are now integrated.
Once your accounts are integrated, Kiiper will extract bank accounts in Xero for you to complete the registration. Kiiper will also automatically sync your data with Xero, so that you can always have access to the most up-to-date information. This includes bank accounts that should be registered in Kiiper, the status of imported bank transacctions in Xero, the reconciliation between the bank balance in Xero vs. bank statements and the summary of the items pending to be reconciled. You can view all of this information in a one-page view inside de dashboard.
Tips related to the Kiiper and Xero integration:
- You can connect multiple Xero organizations to your Kiiper account.
- You can choose to sync Xero data as needed.
- Kiiper only receives information from Xero and it will never send any back to it.
